La Playstation 2 écrase tout |  | Elle y est parvenue ! La Playstation 2 a finalement franchi la barre des 90 millions d'unités vendues !
Avec 36,48 millions de machines vendues aux Etats-Unis, 32,48 millions en Europe et 21,04 millions en Asie, la console de Sony écrase la concurrence. Sur l'année fiscale 2004-2005, 16,17 millions de PS2 ont même été vendues.
Enfin, avec environ 5000 jeux commercialisés, c'est un total de 800 millions de titres qui ont été écoulés, dont plus de 250 millions pour la seule année 2004.
